REALTORS® in Peterborough Give Back to the Community This Holiday Season

The Peterborough and the Kawarthas Association of REALTORS® hosted their Annual Christmas Breakfast Wednesday, December 10, 2014. The event highlighted the past year’s fundraising efforts, and the passing of the gavel from the current President, Ken Barrick, to the new board president, Dominic Cole. Area REALTORS® raised over $30,000 during the past 16 months, which was given to local charities at the Breakfast. The recipients this year were: Hospice Peterborough $5,000; Food for Kids $5,000; Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough $8,168; and Kawartha Food Share $9,605. Additionally, at the Breakfast food donations were collected and $2,450 was raised for the Salvation Army’s Hamper Program; as well as pajamas for Sweet Dreams Children’s Charity.
