REALTORS® on Vancouver Island Support Several Local Charities

The Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB) was proud to present donations to several local charities on behalf of their members over the past few months.

REALTORS® in Comox Valley donated toys for the Salvation Army Toy Drive and donated $620 to YANA (You Are Not Alone) Comox Valley, a community organization offering help to local families who need to travel to access medical treatment for their children.

In the Nanaimo area, VIREB members donated $1,000 to the Salvation Army, $1,250 to Secret Santa, and $500 to the Nanaimo Toy Drive.

In Parksville-Qualicum, local REALTORS® gave $300 to the Salvation Army Food Bank and $190 to the Society of Organized Services Christmas Fund. Members also sponsored a free community swim at Ravensong Aquatic Centre.

In the Cowichan Valley, REALTORS® dug deep for a $1,000 donation to Warmland House, a community shelter in Duncan; $580 to the Cowichan Valley Basket Society; and $1,741.93 to the Lake Cowichan Food Bank.
