Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services Raises Money for Local Shelters

Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services held its 6th Annual Charity Halloween Chili Bowl on the afternoon of October 28, 2015, at Burlington Bowl to raise money for Halton Women’s Place and The Carpenter Hospice. The Charity Halloween Chili Bowl is the major Fall fundraising event of Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services’ annual fundraising campaign.

“The participation, support and costumes keep getting better year after year,” said JoAnn Jusdanis, President and Broker/Owner of Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services. “Our committee, led by Brenda Macdonald, did a fantastic job organizing the event. Funds raised at our Annual Halloween Chili Bowl are donated to The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation in support of our local women’s shelter, Halton Women’s Place.”

“A home should be a place of safety, security and comfort,” said Shanan Spencer-Brown, Executive Director of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. “Sadly, that is not always the case. That is why the funds raised by Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services are so important and why the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is grateful for their continued support and dedication to the community.”

Approximately 130 people attended the event to bowl, which included Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services’ Sales Representatives, administrative employees, and community sponsors. “Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services is deeply committed to helping the community in a variety of ways. The Company’s unique team spirit makes raising funds a very pleasurable experience for everyone involved” said Rebecca Ryder, Vice President & Broker of Record. Over the past thirteen years, Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services has raised over $250,000 in support of Halton Women’s Place and the Carpenter Hospice and they will continue to contribute to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation by organizing and holding fundraising events throughout the year.
