Canadian Century 21 members break record, donate $682K to Easter Seals

Canadian Century 21 members donated their highest-ever amount to Easter Seals in 2015, representing nearly half of the top Century 21 fundraising offices in North America.

Century 21 Canada™ founder U. Gary Charlwood presented a donation worth $682,335 to Easter Seals National Ambassador 16-year old Brandon Liston at the company’s recent awards event in Moncton, N.B.

“On behalf of all the kids like me, whose lives you are constantly changing, I want to thank you for another record-breaking year of fundraising,” Liston said.

Internationally, Century 21 raised $2.9 million U.S. for Easter Seals families for the second year in a row – bringing the grand total raised by members to $114 million since 1979.

“We’re incredibly proud and blown away by our members’ dedication to Easter Seals families, they impact their local communities every year,” said Brian Rushton, executive vice president of Century 21 Canada™.

“Congratulations to all who contributed, you’re profoundly changing lives. We can’t wait to continue the momentum in 2016.”
