CENTURY 21 Canada Sails Past Fundraising Goal at Regatta for Easter Seals Kids

Team C21® Strong of CENTURY 21® Canada set sail as an official corporate sponsor of the Easter Seals Charity Regatta off the shores of Vancouver, British Columbia. Their five person crew was highly successful with their fundraising efforts, raising an impressive $3,100 donation substantially greater than their goal of $2,100.

“Unique events like the regatta are a great way to bring everyone out and help some inspiring kids,” said ship’s captain Brian Rushton, executive vice president, CENTURY 21 Canada. “Our offices support Easter Seals families in cities across the country, so we’re proud to be part of that dedication locally in BC. And, I got to put my passion for boating to good use!”

This year’s Regatta raised a grand total of $173,000 for the Vancouver Easter Seals House. The House provides accessible and affordable accommodation to families from out of town who have children being treated at BC Children’s Hospital.

The event was held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in the waters of English Bay and False Creek, Vancouver.
