In the dead of winter, we can only dream of those hot, summer days spent out on the links.

So here’s something to warm your heart: Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty recently announced $30,000 was raised at their annual Golf Party for Shelter held in September.

All of the proceeds raised were directed by the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation to the Victoria brokerage’s four local shelter partners: Victoria Women’s Transition House, Cridge Transition House for Women, Sooke Transition House, and Margaret Laurence House.

“This year’s Golf Party was our best year yet,” said organizing committee member and sales representative Sarah West. “We continue to be humbled by the support of our golfers and sponsors. Together, we help our shelters break the cycle of domestic violence and provide women and children a starting point towards a better, safer future.”
