Royal LePage Coast Capital Golf Tournament Raises More than $20,000 for Local Shelters

Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty in Victoria hosted more than 100 REALTORS®, clients and suppliers to their annual Golf Party in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. This open invitation event, held on September 9, 2014, featured on-course contests, dinner, live and silent auctions, and a multitude of draw prizes.

“I can’t say enough about what a great day this was,” said Managing Broker Bill Ethier. “With the $20,000 raised this year, we have now achieved a 10-year fundraising total of over $179,000. We are fortunate to have such a great group of generous REALTORS®, as well as a strong community who cares and supports such a worthy cause.”

An impressive $20,033 was raised to benefit Sooke Women’s Transition House, Victoria Women’s Transition House, Margaret Laurence House, and the Cridge Transition House for Women.

Shanan Spencer-Brown, Executive Director of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation commended Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty for their continued dedication to supporting local shelters through a range of fundraising events and agent commission donations, adding “by raising funds for their local shelters, the agents and staff are also shining a light on the services that are available to women and children living with domestic violence.”
