Sutton REALTOR® Leads Fundraising for the New Canadian Human Rights Museum

REALTOR® Sheldon Zamick with Sutton Group – has been appointed Chair of the REALTOR® Fundraising Campaign for the new Canadian Human Rights Museum. The museum will be a popular destination for locals and tourists. Sheldon is proud to be involved with this project as he suggests, “human rights are important to everyone and need to be properly acknowledged,” adding, “human rights are paramount to people around the world.”

On May 5, 2009, Winnipeg REALTORS® presented a cheque for $216,271 to the Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

Construction on the facility will begin this fall and completion is anticipated in two years time on this architectural marvel. “The building can be described as awe-inspiring,” says Sheldon. Situated in downtown Winnipeg, the facility will be the first national museum that the Canadian Federal Government has agreed to locate outside of Ottawa. If you are interested in donating or have any questions about the project, contact Sheldon Zamick at 204-475-9130 or visit the website at beginswithyou.net.
