Royal LePage Burloak Raises Money for Local Shelters at 5th Annual Charity Halloween Chili Bowl

Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services held its 5th Annual Charity Halloween Chili Bowl on the afternoon of October 29, 2014 at Burlington Bowl to raise money for Halton Women’s Place and The Carpenter Hospice. The Charity Halloween Chili Bowl is the major Fall fundraising event of Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services’ annual fundraising campaign.

“For the 5th year in a row, I am proud to say that we had fantastic support from our team of REALTORS® and our Administration Team who, together with very generous Community Partners, made this fundraising event a huge success, said JoAnn Jusdanis, President and Broker/Owner of Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services. “A home should be a place of safety, security and comfort. Sadly, that is not always the case. Every dollar raised at the Halloween Chili Bowl goes directly to helping the women and children who are served by our local shelters and support programs.”

Approximately 112 people attended the event to bowl, which included Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services’ Sales Representatives, administrative employees, and community sponsors. Many of the participants dressed up in Halloween costumes with prizes being awarded for Best Team Theme, Best Individual Costume, Best Bowler and Worst Bowling Technique. “Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services is deeply committed to helping the community in a variety of ways. The Company’s unique team spirit makes raising funds a very pleasurable experience for everyone involved,” said Rebecca Ryder, Vice President & Broker of Record. Over the past twelve years, Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services has raised over $225,000 in support of Halton Women’s Place and the Carpenter Hospice and they will continue to contribute to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation by organizing and holding fundraising events throughout the year.
