Sutton Group–Premier Realty (2008) Ltd. took part in one of the world’s largest one-day volleyball tournaments and raised $905 for HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere), a non-profit that connects creatives with causes through projects and events. Since being founded 36 years ago, HOPE has donated more than 3.5 million dollars to 110 charities.

The annual HOPE Volleyball Summer Festival in Ottawa attracts hundreds of people each year. There was a food tent as well as live entertainment by Cold War Kids, Yukon Blonde and many others.

“Sutton Ottawa recognizes that participating in community events is one of the most important things we can do as a company,” said Office Administrator Anik Lamothe. “Our team played in the corporate division, networking with other local businesses. We enjoyed every minute of the event knowing that our participation contributed to many local charities, including the Children’s Aid Foundation, Special Olympics Ontario, and the Ottawa Mission.”

Throughout the day, the Sutton Ottawa team participated in a total of five matches and enjoyed a team lunch followed by the concert series.

“Word has spread about this great experience,” Lamothe said. “I am sure we will participate in the HOPE Volleyball Summer Festival 2019 and fundraise to further support HOPE charities.”
