The Faris Team Brokerage, with Royal LePage First Contact Realty in Barrie, Ontario, kicked off the sale of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation’s annual tulip fundraiser with the largest single purchase of Shelter Blooms ever – 25,000 bulbs!

It was enough to bring in $12,500 to support the foundation which is dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. In particular, the Shelter Blooms program raises funds to support domestic violence prevention and teen healthy relationship programming aimed at breaking the cycle of family violence in Canada.

“We’re excited to gift a package of these tulip bulbs to more than 2,000 of our clients in Simcoe County and area,” Faris said earlier this year. “Supporting Shelter Blooms is a perfect way to say thank you and serves as a visual reminder of our commitment to helping the thousands of women and children who seek safety from violence.”

Earlier this year, the Faris Team got involved in more charity work by helping build a Habitat for Humanity home, raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters and helped the Barrie food bank sort through 70,000 pounds of food, as seen in the video below.
