The Windsor Essex Real Estate Board has pledged $50,000 in support of Windsor Regional Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department. The funds will be used to purchase the latest in advanced technology for diagnostic procedures, including a new Siemens Somatom 64-Slice CT Scanner at the Met Campus.
The new scanner was unveiled at the hospital on April 3rd, and features improved image resolution, reduced radiation doses through care dosages, faster scan times, precise follow-up and benefiting all programs in the hospital with emphasis on cancer and pediatric patients. Windsor Regional Hospital says it is grateful for the many donors who have stepped forward and supported this initiative – including the Windsor Essex Country Real Estate Board.
