What began in 1994 as a 980 sq. ft. storefront has grown into a 9,000 sq. ft. youth community centre that reaches out to underprivileged and at-risk kids in the greater Edmonton area.
The Crystal Kids Youth Centre offers kids a safe environment for recreation and leisure programs at no cost.
Edmonton REALTOR® Christophe Sadelain of Sutton – Premier Real Estate is a long-time supporter of the Youth Centre and recently helped to organize the 8th Annual Gordon Russell’s Crystal City Youth Centre Street Dance and Barbecue.
The event took place on Saturday, June 2, 2007 and, thanks to the hard work of volunteers and staff from the Sutton – Premier Real Estate office, more than $10,000 was raised to help support the Youth Centre. Funds were raised at the event through a charity barbecue and silent auction.
Christophe feels that REALTORS® should take part in their community and give back to worthy causes. “This was a great community based event, and there are always Sutton REALTORS® willing to give their time to this cause,” said Christophe.
