Calgary’s Royal LePage Benchmark and Royal LePage Solutions came together to present more than $124,000 to local charities at the Royal LePage Calgary Shelter Foundation’s recent Annual General Meeting.

Just over $62,000 was donated to both the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter and the Children’s Cottage Society. According to the Children’s Cottage Society, this latest donation brings the 10-year total to more than $260,000 donated.

“A very big thank you to the entire team for being such incredible friends to the Cottage for the past decade,” said the society in a Facebook post.

Funds were raised through agent commission donations, a casino night fundraiser, the Royal LePage Benchmark Golf Skills Challenge, a Calgary Stampede lawn bowling event (in conjunction with Advanced Mortgage and Lending Solutions), and the Royal LePage Solutions’ Christmas party. An additional $4,000 was raised via the Royal LePage Benchmark Annual Christmas Toy Drive, which was gratefully received by the Children’s Cottage Society.
