RE/MAX nova’s Annual Charity Auction Raises $25,478 for the Children’s Miracle Network

RE/MAX nova held their annual charity auction on April 27, 2013. It was a huge success, raising $25,478! It was a fun filled evening graciously hosted by C100’s Peter Harrison with over 100 in attendance. Over 80 items, generously donated by agents, staff and local businesses, were auctioned off along with ticket sales on a door prize, lottery tree and 50/50 draw.

RE/MAX nova’s real estate professionals and staff participate 100% in The RE/MAX Miracle Home Program which allows them to give back to the community in which they live and work.  In addition to donating a portion of their commission from each home sale to the Children’s Miracle Network, it’s the proceeds from events like RE/MAX nova’s Annual Charity Auction that help provide ongoing medical care, research and education directly to the  IWK Health Centre Foundation.

“We believe that anyone in the Atlantic provinces has had a friend or family member who has been touched by the dedicated and caring staff and services at the IWK,” say REALTORS® Merv and Natalie Edinger. “This is why we support the IWK Children’s Centre, just one of the more than 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, so that they can continue their great work in helping sick and injured children and their families, not just with medical treatments but in so many ways. After all, kids just want to have the opportunity to be kids.”
