Coldwell Banker Rhodes & Company Marks Anniversary with Hospice Donation

To celebrate their 68th anniversary, Coldwell Banker Rhodes & Company Brokerage – Ottawa’s oldest locally owned real estate business – wanted to do something special for a worthwhile organization. They commemorated the event with a $25,000 donation to the Hospice at May Court. This marked the fourth annual donation of $25,000 to the Hospice, bringing the grand total of their donations to $100,000.

Coldwell Banker Rhodes & Company and the Hospice at May Court are both committed to being part of the community and putting people first. Together, these two reasons helped Coldwell Bankers become involved with the Hospice.

“This donation is on behalf of all our agents and staff,” said Jim McKeown – Broker of CB Rhodes. “Giving to the Hospice makes sense. It is our job to help build communities, and The Hospice at May Court plays a crucial role in the Ottawa community.”

At any given time, on average, 100 people from Ottawa and the surrounding area receive care from one of the Hospice’s four programs.

“We are deeply grateful and inspired by this gift from Coldwell Banker Rhodes and Company,” said Director of Development Megan Doyle. “We’ve got a busy year ahead of us, and this was the best start we could ask for.”
