The Royal LePage GTA Charity Golf Tournament raised a whopping $20,000 and marked its 23rd year when it was held on June 6 at the Caledon Country Club.

Proceeds benefit the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated to funding women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention and education programs. The popular tournament has raised an impressive $95,000 for the Shelter Foundation since implementing a charitable component six years ago.

“We are very pleased to announce (it) was a great success,” said organizer and Royal LePage REALTOR® Gus Monteleone.

Organizers Al Orlando, Joanne Verissimo, Walter Mudyk, Miguel Madeira, Jennifer English, Rick Murray and Monteleone look forward to surpassing the $100,000 mark at next year’s tournament, scheduled for June 5, 2017.
