The Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR) hit the links and raised more than $31,000 for Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region at KWAR’s 24th annual charity golf tournament.

Close to 150 golfers participated in the tournament, along with the support of many sponsors.

“This year’s tournament was our most successful ever in terms of funds raised and REALTOR® engagement,” said KWAR president James Craig. “As REALTORS® we are very proud to support Habitat for Humanity in their mission of building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to break the cycle of poverty.”

“Without the generous support of our many sponsors and volunteers, this would not have been possible,” he added. “We had many sponsors return back this year, and we’re delighted to have had some new sponsors on board for this tournament”.

KWAR thanks all of the sponsors, volunteers, and individual hole sponsors who made the day and the tournament such a success!

Since 1993 the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® has donated well in excess of $1 million to support local charities on behalf of its REALTOR® members. KWAR recognizes the need to support and enhance the Quality of Life enjoyed by residents of Waterloo Region.
