Donations Reflect the Efforts of REALTORS® in the Outaouais

It is difficult to imagine that nowadays a family with young children could have problems finding suitable housing. Unfortunately, it is often the case in many cities. An organization such as the Oeuvres Isidore Ostiguy in the Outaouais helps these families in need in order to give them back their dignity.

That’s the reason why the Outaouais Real Estate Board chose to help this organization financially. The Oeuvres Isidore Ostiguyresembles somewhat the role of Real Estate Agents, which is to find a home for its clients. So why not help an organization that does the same for families in need? This organization also mentors them in order to ensure their safety and provide them with a brighter future.

In the last 5 years, during the Board’s Annual Tournament, we donated more than $62,000 to the Oeuvres Isidore Ostiguy – $15,892 of which was donated at the 36th Edition that took place on August 30th, 2007. The Board is pleased to help parents and predominantly children find shelter, ensure their safety and provide them with a decent standard of living. Hats Off to the Outaouais real estate industry for its generosity!
