When members of the community come together, good things happen. The Association of Regina REALTORS® (ARR) believes this to be true and continues to play a part in the great work the North Central Family Centre (NCFC) does for youth and families in Saskatchewan.

As part of a long-term commitment—the ARR has provided more than $125,000 to NCFC over the years—Regina REALTORS® have once again donated $5,000 to support the NCFC after school program.

“ARR has recognized the crucial need in supporting inner-city grassroots agencies like NCFC, as we work together to revitalize our community, create new opportunities and a safe environment for the children, youth and families of North Central, Regina,” said Sandy Wankel, Executive Director for NCFC.

Past support from Regina REALTORS® has included, among other things, providing books and supplies for the centre’s classes, equipment for the Clean the Neighbourhood Project, construction of an outdoor courtyard and funding for the Youth Empowerment Program.

“Year after year, we see the difference NCFC is making to the youth and their families involved in various programs,” says Tim Otitioju, ARR President and Regina REALTOR®, “They’re helping to build a better future, not just for the participants, but for the whole community. It’s inspiring to see the great work being done and to know that we’ve played a small role in their success!” Adds Wankel, “North Central Family Centre is eternally grateful to ARR for their long-term commitment and investment in our youth by supporting our literacy program that will ensure our youth have the educational and leadership skills to meet the employment demands in Saskatchewan.”
